What will you lose if you upgrade to windows 8 ?

Microsoft has introduce their new OS system recently which is Windows 8. This operating system has made especially for touch screen. Even though we install windows to our computer because we are so much attached to Windows 8. But if you’re a person who still did not upgraded to windows 8, before that I have something important to share with you. That is about what are the things you going to lose when upgrading

Windows 7 to Windows 8 

This upgrade is not a big issue since you won’t lose anything whereas every personal data, system settings, and apps will be automatically transfer to windows 8.

Windows Vista to windows 8

Here all your personal data and windows settings will transfer in to windows 8 but applications will be removed since vista applications are not supported and you will be needed to re-install those with supported software.

Windows XP to windows 8

Only the personal files will transfer to windows 8 and your personal data plus windows settings will be gone.

Any windows OS to Windows 8 Release Preview

this will only transfer personal files not the windows settings and applications.

Any windows OS to Windows 8 Consumer Preview or Windows 8 Developer Preview 

This is not a good idea to upgrade to these versions because you will lose everything and if you need the old files back you can get those back manually via windows old folder
