How to Block USB ports in PC or Laptop

Here you go today I’m going to show you how to block USB ports. Now a days USB drive have become a common thing but also have become a threat for our computer :D because some plug the USB and they bring virus to it. Any way I’m sharing my knowledge with you all. So here are the steps to block ports

Step 1 – Go to start > Click Run or for windows 7 users type run in search and press enter

Step 2 – And type regedit

Step 3 – In regedit editor go to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE> SYSTEM> CurrentControlSet> Services> USBSORT 

Step 4 – In Right Panel find Start and Double click

Step 5 – Then the Edit DWORD will pop up in it tick hexadecimal and in Value Data type “4” and click ok

Step 6 – Close regedit and restart the computer

Your USB ports are disabled :D have fun make your school computers go mad J

Note – In order to make the USB ports to work turn the Value Data back to “3”
